Provide best control and monitoring.

What challenges do you have around diabetes and exercise, and how do you overcome them?

The biggest challenge is managing glucose with varying intensity and duration of physical activities.

What would you tell someone considering the same devices that you use?

Great devices but not 100%.

  • T:Slim X2
  • Good: The t:slim pump is very reliable. It allows various profiles for insulin delivery & you can bolus from the app.
  • Bad: The t:slim is too big, looking at the Mobi pump.
  • G7
  • Good: The G7 now talks directly to my Apple Watch. I can monitor glucose during activity.
  • Bad: The G7 is sometimes not reliable for the first 12 hours after insertion so I have to turn off Control IQ. The G7 gets ripped off easily when worn on my arm, and it is not working on my abdomen.

What is your favorite low snack?

Dried figs
